We remove light and outlet plates, light fixtures, and doors. I offer competitive prices for $1.25
per sq.ft. This includes prep work, priming, ceiling, trim, walls, windows and doors. Also, we only use
quality paint like Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore, Duron,
Porter or Ralph Lauren which gives
better coverage.
We cannot emphasize enough about how important it is to prime your rooms
before you paint them. Priming brings out the richness of the paint. Not priming is one of the
reasons why many people will choose a color at the store, put it on the wall and then is not
satisfied with the color because it looks different than what it was at the store. Below is a chart
and some formulas on how to calculate the sq.ft. of a room and how much paint to use.
We Don't Cut Corners...We Paint Them !!!
Standard calculation for a gallon of paint is about 400-440 sq.ft. But I think that  300-350 is a
little bit more accurate. Here is a  formula on how to calculate the wall area of a room:
1. Find the perimeter of the room by adding wall lengths.  Example: Our example room is 10x12.
10 + 10 + 12 + 12 = 44 ft.

2.  Multiply the perimeter by the wall height. A somewhat typical wall height is 8 feet, but
measure to be certain. Example: Our example room is pretty standard and has 8 foot ceilings.
44 x 8 = 352 sq. feet

3. Subtract area of doors and windows.  If they're an odd size, you can figure the area by
multiplying the height x width. Standard doors you can figure on being 20 sq. ft. and standard
windows you can figure on being 15 sq. ft. Example: Our example room has 2 doors and 1
window. 20 x 2 = 40 + 15 = 55 sq. ft. Subract from the wall area: 352 - 55 = 297 sq. ft.

4. Remember, 1 gallon of paint covers 300-350 sq.ft. so it would take 1 gallon of paint to paint
our example room.

5. To calculate the sq.ft. of the ceiling just multiply the length times the width: 10 x 12 = 120 sq.ft
